Forest ride. 

All gates should be open and good tracks with super views over Royal Deeside.

Directions to the Venue

From Banchory:   Continue westward along North Deeside Road to Potarch Bridge.

From Aboyne:   Continue eastward along North Deeside Road to Potarch Bridge.

Venue is behind the Potarch Cafe and Restaurant.

Venue Information

NO DOGS AT THE VENUE PLEASE.   Remove all muck, straw from the venue before leaving.

There will be no farrier at this ride.

Route Marking

Most markers are red and white plastic tape. Normally markers will be on your left. Two markers together indicate a turn.  Markers on both sides of the track indicate 2-way traffic. The route and talkround is punctuated with letter signs.

Crewing Information

At forest car park at Shooting Greens.

On tarmac road at Blackhall.

No crews in the forest. 


Refunds and withdrawals  Please notify the Ride Secretary before the ride if unable to attend.  Your place may be used to allow someone else to ride.  Refunds are at the discretion of the Ride Secretary
